IWA & CA’s Guide to Safe Lithium Battery Installation now published

One of the talks at Electrika 2026 was on the Safe Installation of Lithium Batteries, given by Paul Sumpner, on behalf of the Inland Waterways Association and Cruising Association’s Joint Working Group.

The talk focused on the work the group has been doing, to create a Guide for Safe Lithium Battery Installation. Both organisations had recognised the lack of good information on this subject, available for their members and for the industry in general.
